Richland, Washington—Zero Gravity Builders Studio LLC has completed its move to a newly renovated 14,000 square foot facility with taxiway access on airport property in Richland, Washington. The new facility is more than four times larger than the space previously occupied
allowing Zero Gravity additional elbow room to serve its growing list of builder assistance projects.
Specializing in high performance experimental aircraft, Zero Gravity has three Viperjet customer projects on the shop floor and will welcome a Lancair Evolution customer in late spring. “Although the national recession has been very hard on aviation in general, we are optimistic that
the industry will rebound and pilots will continue to pursue their passion for flight,” commented Rob Huntington, Zero Gravity general manager. He adds, “Moving to a larger facility was really a timing issue for Zero Gravity. The building became available at a time when we were taking
on more projects and needed the extra space. We have an experienced, qualified team in place to do the job and now we have the space to help more clients complete their projects.”
With the additional square footage, Zero Gravity will also be able to accept more business for the IdeaStudio, a division of Zero Gravity where prototyping assistance is available to inventors across a broad range of industries. Zero Gravity also has plans to offer a larger menu of aircraft
services to be announced later in the year. To learn more about the Zero Gravity Builders Studio, contact Rob Huntington at 509.942.8439

Authorized Experimental Aircraft certificate issued to Viper Aircraft pilots
Pasco, Washington—Viper Aircraft Corporation is pleased to announce that company pilot Alain Garcia and professional test pilot Len Fox of L.A. Fox Unlimited have both received their Authorized Experimental Aircraft certificate in the Viperjet aircraft.
“This is really an asset to our company and clients,” stated Scott Hanchette, president. “After completing the recommended training syllabus and fulfilling the certificate requirements, our clients will be able to add this designation to their license.” He further states, “To my knowledge, Viper Aircraft is the first experimental aviation company in its class to receive an
Authorized Experimental Aircraft certificate. It is in essence an Experimental Aircraft version of a Type Rating. The holder of this endorsement on their Airman’s Certificate will no longer need to receive a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the FAA.”
The Authorized Experimental Aircraft certificate is part of the FAA Vintage and Experimental Program established to standardize pilot qualifications, training and certification in experimental U.S. and foreign aircraft. Pilots must pass a comprehensive review and flight evaluation by an FAA Designated Experimental Aircraft examiner.

Viper Aircraft Corporation Focuses on Fuel Efficient Personal Aircraft Travel in New Viperjet LXR
Pasco, Wash — Viper Aircraft Corporation announced today the release of its latest addition to the Viperjet family of aircarft — the Viperjet LXR. Through minor tooling enhancements to its popular Viperjet MKII Executive fuselage, Viper Aircraft designers were able to accommodate the certified Pratt & Whitney JT15D-1A 2200 lbs static thrust turbofan engine.
“Without sacrificing performance, we have achieved our company goal of offering customers a Viperjet with increased range while being able to decrease emissions and lower fuel consumption,” says company president, Scott Hancehtte. “By moving to the JT15D-1A, cruise fuel burns are half and idle fuel burns are one-third that of the previously used GE J85/CJ610 engine. We feel that the Viperjet LXT really is the smart choice for pilots and owners seeking a fast, fuel efficient personal aircraft with reasonable acquisition and operational costs.”
In addition to power plant changes, weight reduction strategies have been implemented in the Viperjet LXR maintaining th overall performance level expectations found in all Viperjet aircraft. At gross weight, the projected rate of climb for the LXR is over 5000 fpm with 1000 nautical miles of range (45 minutes reserve) at 400+ knots.
While the Viperjet LXR continues the signature look and style of the Viperjet MKII Executive, the bolstered LXR fuselage brings more room into the cockpit for travel comfort and luggage space.
Company executives also report that supply chain efficiencies and manufacturing enhancements allow parts production to begin within 30 days or less of an LXR order being placed.
