Despite its recent bankruptcy filing BearingPoint continues to win contracts providing technical and management support to the U.S. Department of Defense. WashingtonTechnology.com writes that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) just gave them a small contract to provide acquisition management and support. The contract is worth about $3.5 million. BearingPoint has supported DLA in this area since 2002. DLA has been satisfied with the work that BearingPoint has done.
Navy needs sailors

Bearingpoint was awarded a contract by the US Navy to provide management tools for the Recruiting Command. See a press release here. The contract is worth over $12 M and is a continuation of Bearingpoint’s work over the last few years. As with many other types of corporations the military spends a great deal of money on custom software and database applications. This is actually a large business and is often subsumed within the SETA support contracts.
Wyle Laboratories and Bearing Point win Navy SETA contract
This award is a classic example of a SETA contract. Science, Engineering, Technical and Analytical support contracts are given to companies to support DoD program offices in the management of their procurement programs. Here Wyle Laboratories and Bearing Point won a contract to support the E-2C office. Details are on Defenselink.mil. More information can be found here.
