Navy damage control training

While the recent contract announcement here for upgrade of the USS Buttercup Damage Control (DC) trainer may seem innocuous, it is rather important. I know that when I went through my basic training in the Navy we spent a pleasant few hours in the Buttercup. While I cannot attest to the realism of the training, it certainly introduced us to the idea of working under pressure and in feet of cold water to use the standard Navy DC tools.
