According to Northrop CEO, Ronald Sugar, the KC-X award is highly significant for Northrop:
“This is a big deal and in some ways it could be considered a game-changer,” Sugar said. “This is a major systems- integration job.”
He also compared it’s importance to Northrop’s winning of the 1980s B-2 contract. See more at Bloomberg.com.
