GfK Now Serving Public Sector Clients through GSA’s MOBIS Contract — Press Release

GfK Now Serving Public Sector Clients through GSA’s MOBIS Contract

Award of Contract Validates GfK’s Innovative Market Research Service Offerings & Enables Firm to Better Serve Government Agencies

PR Newswire

NEW YORK, March 1, 2011

NEW YORK, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — GfK Custom Research North America, an industry leader in innovative market research tools and services, today announced that it has been awarded the General Services Administration (GSA) Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services contract (MOBIS). Having this contract allows GfK to directly and seamlessly serve public sector clients.

As the primary purchasing agent for most US governmental agencies, having the GSA validation signifies that GfK meets the high standards to enable government agencies to easily do business with GfK through various contract vehicles. GfK holds a GSA Schedule 69 contract, allowing government agencies the choice, flexibility, ease of use and access to the latest business integrated services at fair and reasonable pricing.

“It is a tremendous validation of our experience, high standards of quality and innovative market research services to meet the stringent standards to put this contract in place,” said David Krajicek, Co-President, GfK Custom Research North America. “This opens up a great deal of opportunities for us to expand our position in the federal market and compete for opportunities that are only available through GSA.”

GfK’s GSA Schedule contract is a direct result of a complex process in which the General Services Administration evaluated its professional capabilities, organizational structure, performance history, and customer satisfaction, among other criteria. As a result, GfK is qualified to perform work directly for federal government entities.

GfK’s GSA status is especially relevant to the group’s expertise in public affairs and policy research,” said Holly Heline Jarrell, group managing director, GfK Roper Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. “While we have an extensive history working with multiple governmental and non-profit agencies, having this contract in place allows both our existing and new government customers to streamline the process of using our tools and services.”
