Landis Sewerage Authority Receives EPA 2010 ENERGY STAR CHP Award for Renewable Energy Utilization and Carbon Emissions Reduction Aided by the Use of Prodex’s BAE
MT. LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Landis Sewerage Authority (Landis SA), located in Vineland, NJ, has received the prestigious 2010 ENERGY STAR™ CHP (combined heat and power) Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for increasing biogas production and reducing its carbon footprint with the help of Biological Activity Enhancer (BAE™) used in its anaerobic digester. The U.S. EPA issues ENERGY STAR CHP Awards to recognize CHP systems that reduce pollution and use at least 5% less fuel
