YORK, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BAE Systems has received delivery orders from the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command worth $170 million to produce 32 U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Armored Utility Vehicles (AUV) and provide major upgrades to existing vehicles. The U.S. SOCOM AUV is one of several Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) variants based on the RG33 family of vehicles. To date, BAE Systems has produced nearly 350 SOCOM MRAP vehicles.
