BRAC adds facilities and jobs to Wright-Patterson AFB

The Army Corps of Engineers awarded Butt Construction Company, partnered with Archer Weston, a $194 M contract to build new research facilities at Wright-Patterson AFB. See the story here. This new construction is related to the planned BRAC move concentrating some human factors and other S&T work at Wright-Patterson. One of the key parts of this BRAC round was to concentrate the three services research facilities. All aerial weapon development was moved to China Lake in CA, Redstone Arsenal will get helicopter research, and so on.
