It was surprising that it took this long, but the Air Force had a B-2 crash at Guam. They only built 21, and I don’t think they are going to restart that production line anytime soon. See this article for more. I think the Air Force has a program to develop a new bomber sometime before 2020. This means that the B-1, B-52 and now reduced B-2 fleet will have to soldier on for many more years. It is another example of the aging aircraft problem the US military faces.
