According to Federal Computer Weekly, the DISA reevaluated the Encore II IT solutions contract. The agency had originally planned to limit the number of awards and bidders. It has now decided not to do that. See the article here. The contract could have a value of up to $12 B dollars and can last 10 years. The original awards in the contract had been successfully protested by losers. The GAO upheld the protest in May, 2007.
