TRW said yesterday that it had signed a confidentiality agreement with ”several interested parties,” two days after its shareholders asked management to share confidential financial information with the Northrop Grumman Corporation, which has made a $6.7 billion bid for the firm. TRW said that Northrop Grumman was invited to participate but it did not identify the parties that had signed the confidentiality agreement. Such an agreement gives potential bidders access to confidential financial information. TRW has said the offer from Northrop, based in Los Angeles, is too low. TRW, a military contractor, is based in Cleveland.
